The countdown is on to Dubai

The 22nd June marks 100 days until the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai and the Monaco Pavilion, where the Principality will “sell” its assets to the world.

The international exhibition was initially planned for 2020 in the United Arab Emirates, however the global Covid-19 pandemic forced its postponement.

So, it will now be held from 1st October 2021 until 31st March 2022 under the theme ‘Connecting minds, building the future’ and focusing on three key areas: opportunity, mobility and sustainability.

Monaco’s participation in the expo is through its purpose-built sustainable pavilion ‘Monaco 360, a world of opportunity’, which will show all of the different facets of the Principality, its uniqueness, businesses, projects and assets… “A reality that is too often overlooked,” according to the government in a statement.

“The obsession has been to prepare a Pavilion which will show the wider world that Monaco unites talents in all fields, from medicine to art, through research, safety and innovation,” says Albert Croesi, Commissioner General of the Monaco Pavilion and Managing Director of Monaco Inter Expo. “Hence the Monaco 360 theme that we are going to develop during the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai by inviting all public, cultural and private entities who will present, in turn, their field.”
